Xiaomi Redmi 2 with 4G is the next iteration of Redmi 1S 

It sports 
+ 4.7" IPS Display with 720p panel..
+ 64-bit Arch. Quad core Snapdragon 410 CPU with a clock speed of 1.2GHz and adreno 306 GPU..
+ 1GB RAM & 8GB internal storage, 32GB expandability..
+ 8MP (Rear camera) & 2MP(Front camera)..
+ Android 4.4(kitkat)/MIUI 6.0..
+2200 mAh Battery..
+Thickness- 9.4mm

Its not a milestone change but its a decent change compared to Redmi 1S..

Redmi 1S also sports almost same specs except 64-bit arch, front facing camera, and battery

However, it's coming cheap again in China Redmi 2 priced CNY 699 which is 7100 INR when converted..

There is also no clarity on availability out of china. In china it will be available from 9th Jan
